Das Internet verbreitet sich immer und immer weiter und es werden von Tag zu Tag mehr Leute, die einen Zugang zum Internet haben. Diese Leute trifft man ab und an an einigen Sammelstellen für Menschen, den sogenannten Communities, also den Gruppenverbänden von Gleichgesinnten. Dort tauschen sich Menschen unterschiedlichster Nationalität, Hautfarbe, Religion und Bildung über Dinge aus, die sie bewegen, die sie interessieren oder verbringen einfach nur ein wenig Zeit mit einander. Wie aber können Menschen Zeit mit einander verbringen, die sich als Mensch nicht einmal real bekannt sind, die nur das virtuelle Sein, die virtuelle Rolle des anderen sehen können? Ist es nur ein Rollenspiel mit bestimmten Regeln, die die jeweilige Community vorgibt? Nur ein Spiel wie Skat oder Poker zum Zeitvertreib und danach geht es zurück ins reale Leben?

Looks like the internet has become the frontline in the war for the US presidency.
Remember, I talked about the McCain campaign ad where Obama was compared to Britney and Paris? Well - what can I say except the fact that what goes around comes around.
This is the original ad.

Notice how McCain is specifically highlighting on Obama’s immaturity in saying no to offshore drilling. Now FunnyOrDie.com paid Paris Hilton to do a rebuttal.
“I am not old and I don’t want to bring change…I am just hot!” She purrs. Worth a look. And she wants to paint the white house PINK - and wants Rihanna as her running mate! Hilarious. And she uses words I am sure she doesn’t understand.

Some questions on Internet forums are so offensive and/or non-PC that they can only be answered one way unless the answerer wants to be the victim of a virtual tar and feathering.

What kind of person, other than a religious fanatic, is going to answer “No” to this question? Is there any point to asking a question where all the answers are going to be the same?
