It’s been a wild ride in political ad land; When McCain’s attack Obama/Britney/Paris ads didn’t go over as well as he’d hoped, he was quick to defend himself. ‘We’re just trying to inject a sense of humor into the campaign’, he reportedly said.
Donors were not amused. Once of those donors was Kathy Hilton. That’s right, none other than Paris’ mother. Now that’s funny.
“It is a complete waste of the country’s time and attention at the very moment when millions of people are losing their homes and their jobs,”Kathy Hilton said in a short article posted on the liberal Huffington Post Web site. “And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the nextpresident of the United States.”
Also, the ad simply wasn’t funny. You want to know what’s even funnier, McCranky? Paris’ response to your crummy ad.
