For heaven’s sake, the latest “blast Obama” topic is getting old. In case you’re out of the loop, the presumptive democratic presidential nominee gave a speech in Missouri where he encouraged Americans to make sure their tires were properly inflated, get regular tune ups - all those little maintenance things that help your car get maximum gas mileage. These suggestions, just so you know, are not liberal propaganda. They are more along the lines of common sense. Would they equal the fuel savings Obama suggested? On his blog, ABC News’ John Tapper says, not really.
Republicans have teed off on what they are calling Obama’s “energy policy.” The McCain camp cleverly passed out Barack Obama tire gauges. The message from the right: Obama’s entire plan to save us from $4 gas rests upon inflating your tires.
