The first part of the Gibson interview first part of the Gibson interview with Sarah Palin is very interesting, both rhetorically and for the content itself.
To what extent do these interviews put pressure on the Democratic ticket to do an equivalent set of interviews? Of course, one could certainly argue “no, we’ve already done that..Palin had to because she’s so new to the public.” However, that may not fly.

Can the press get away with destroying a woman just because they don’t like her?
And why did that congressman say that Governor Bill Clinton crucified the Marxist Messiah, President Hussein? That couldn’t be true. Could it?
I think I saw a “community organizer” on the street yesterday. He was organizing aluminum cans. After he organized enough of them, he can turn them in for cash and buy some more wine.

“Uncirculated, Confidential EPA Draft Document Leaked To Blog”
That is the headline so far.
I haven’t really digested the 143 page document, but Keltruth Blog looks like they have come up with some interesting reading - some of which is quite surprising including an agreement to be gentle in the enforcement of the final agreement.
Let’s see what our readers can come up with…

Here’s a funny clip from last night’s Larry King Live. It’s painful to watch Arianna Huffington try to talk sense to the belligerent and largely misinformed Chuck Norris (who provides yet another example of how a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing). It was a mighty brave attempt by Mrs. Huffington, who was apparently unaware of the fact that, among other things, Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door. Click here for more fun Chuck Norris “facts”.

Obama’s GOP roster share anti-Israel

Barack Obama claims that he is a post-partisan politician and promises he will work well with Republicans. This is contrary to his history in the Senate to date and also flies in the face of the National Journal, which found him to be the most liberal member of the Senate.
In any case, he does try to sprinkle a few Republicans about him to burnish his credibility — which these days needs a lot of burnishing. In any case, there also seems to be a common theme among the Republicans that support Barack Obama: they have anti-Israel views.
The New York Sun earlier this year noted that Obama expressed a desire to bring Senators Chuck Hagel and Dick Lugar on board should he become President. The Sun editorialized that this was disheartening since these two Senators were known for their problematic attitudes towards [...]

At a time of rising US-Russian tensions over Georgia, the United States voiced wariness about Russia’s aims in Latin America, even if both sides denied any link with the month-long crisis back in eastern Europe.

You know, it really is unbelievable what has happened to that country. And a great number thinks its ok. The political system in the US is beyond hope. You are doomed to super rich oil companies running the country and lobbyists for them running Washington. If you think anyone up there really gives a shit about you, you’re living in dreamland.
I like Singapore because the Prime Minister comes out each year and says what is going to happen the next year. And then, IT DOES. Granted, the people don’t elect him, they only elect the parliament. Then the parliament elects him. None of that matters because the results are so enormously superior to the system in the US that I can’t imagine anyone living/working here and ever wanting to go back to that ignorant, gullible and totally corrupt system. I certainly don’t ever want to.
You can have your zillion dollar [...]
